Soon after, Susan founded the Chamber Orchestra at the Royal Academy of Music in their Junior Department, where she conducted it for many years and pioneered a concert series at Kings Place. She is now a Chamber Music coach, as well as a violin professor.
As Director of Performance at Mill Hill County High School, Susan raised the standard of string playing to an extraordinary level. The Chamber Orchestra enjoyed success each year working alongside Ben Pope and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. She currently directs orchestras at both Westminster and Haileybury schools.
